Overview of Position
The Truck Sales Representative will reach his or her business targets through effective
management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. This
individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and
continually maintain a professional image of the company. The individual must have
their own vehicle and must be comfortable to work and visit customers in all regions in
Guyana.

Responsibilities

Create and enhance customer satisfaction levels. (Handling complaints and
scheduling customer sales calls) Prepare daily activity reports.
Conduct trade visits in all geographical locations as needed.
Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
Accurately process customer transactions such as delivery reports, orders,
quotes, or returns in Dynamics 365.
Ensure correct documentation is received from customers for credit applications.
Monitor trade receivable daily/weekly monthly.
Update lost sales report where applicable .
Review Equipment Aging Report and follow up with customers for outstanding
installments.
Prepare monthly commission claims, mileage report or any related report.
Successfully complete and participate in assigned training assigned from the
supervisor.
Gather information from competitors, product performance and market
tendencies.
Analyzing sales statistics and preparing reports on a regular basis.
Ensure all tasks and activities are conducted following the company established
safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

At least five (5) subjects at CXC inclusive of English and Mathematics.
At least one year with a Diploma in Marketing or Sales or three years’ experience
in technical sales.
Competent in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Good interpersonal, telephone & communications skills (written and verbal)
Must have own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
