Junior Technician
To perform service activities such as preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance
and major repairs on trucks, generators and components following the manufacturer’s
specifications and ISG’s standards.
Responsibilities
Working with the technical support team to request service parts.
Perform disassembly and assembly of components as directed.
Clean mechanical parts and components.
Inspect trucks or generators according to supervisor’s instruction.
Remove, assist with rebuilding, and install components from equipment and
engines as directed.
Assist in the repair and service of trucks and generators.
Accurately prepare service reports manually or on Microsoft Office as required,
following all company standards.
Use safe working practices, PPE and tools according to the task that will be
handled.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of any oil leaks, grease, etc.
Perform maintenance activities on new and rebuilt/repaired equipment as
directed.
Engage in continuous improvement by adhering to and participating into the ISO
quality system, its processes, and activities; and by promoting and leading
technology adoption and change management.
Transport components, parts and equipment as directed around the facility using
forklift, company vehicle, overhead cranes or manlift.
Qualifications & Requirements
At least four (4) CXC Subjects.
Microsoft Office certificate would be an asset.
A certificate from an accredited technical institute or MACORP technical training
would be an asset.
Communicate effectively with other employees and customers whilst following a
safe working procedure.
