Operator Training

MACORP’s Training Department offers training for new and experienced operators. In this program operators are taught using the blended teaching methodology.

This excavator operating training course is designed for entry level operators with little or no excavator operating experience.

Each participant will receive an evaluation, an evaluation report and a final examination to certify their competence of operating the machine. A certificate of competence will be issued on successful completion of the program.

  • Stability principles and load capacity limits
  • Hands-on practice with real-world scenarios

The Backhoe Operator Training program provides in-depth instruction on operating backhoes for excavation, trenching, loading, and other construction tasks. This training emphasizes precision, efficiency, and safety while handling this versatile machine. Key topics include:

  • Backhoe controls and functions
  • Digging, trenching, and backfilling techniques
  • Equipment maintenance and safety checks
  • Site safety, hazard identification, and risk mitigation
  • Practical exercises for skill development

The Wheel Loader Operator Training program is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience to operate wheel loaders efficiently and safely. The training covers fundamental aspects such as equipment components, pre-operational inspections, safety protocols, machine controls, maneuvering techniques, load handling, and maintenance procedures. Additionally, the program emphasizes best practices for preventing accidents, improving productivity, and minimizing equipment downtime.
