Excavator Operator Training

MACORP’s Training Department offers training for new and experienced operators. In this program operators are taught using the blended teaching methodology.

This excavator operating training course is designed for entry level operators with little or no excavator operating experience.

Each participant will receive an evaluation, an evaluation report and a final examination to certify their competence of operating the machine. A certificate of competence will be issued on successful completion of the program.

Training Includes
  • Classroom
  • Simulator Exercise
  • Practical on the machine which covers
    • Safety
    • Walk around inspections
    • Operators compartment
    • Startup/shut down procedures
    • Basic operating procedures so an individual can develop skills to operate the equipment safely and proficiently
Class duration
  • 15 days (Mon – Fri)
Class time
  • 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily
