MACORP today handed over 19 Caterpillar and Case equipment to BK Quarries at a simple ceremony held at MACORP’s 26 Providence location.

According to Kyle Tiwari, CEO of BK Group of Companies, the investment will power projects in the mining, construction and marine sectors.

Angel Amaris, MACORP’s Corporate Accounts Manager said the event is a celebration of partnership, progress, and confidence in Guyana’s future and expressed gratitude to BK Group of Companies for trusting MACORP to support its development projects.

“For over 30 years, MACORP has proudly served Guyana. Through every stage of national development — from roads and bridges to energy, mining and construction — MACORP has stood alongside our customers, delivering the equipment, service, and support they need to build this country,” he said.

He added, “BK Quarries is one of those customers who represents what strong Guyanese enterprise looks like: vision, resilience, readiness and commitment to growth. We are proud to call BK not just a customer, but a trusted partner. Their confidence in MACORP and Caterpillar speaks volumes — and today’s delivery of 17 Caterpillar 330 and 350 excavators, 236 Skid Steer Loader, SEM motor grader and compactor and Case Tractors is proof of that shared confidence.” Amaris said.

CAT machines are engineered to work harder, last longer, and deliver the performance that projects like BK’s demand whether its crushing or digging in the quarries in the Mazaruni or grading and building the roads along the Coast of Guyana.

MACORP boasts that its customers enjoy peace of mind today  with Caterpillar’s advanced digital solutions — from real-time machine health monitoring and predictive maintenance, to fuel efficiency tracking and remote diagnostics. These technologies mean fewer surprises, better planning, and more uptime — so  customers can stay focused on what matters most: powering development across Guyana.

Minister of Natural Resources, Honorable Vickram Bharrat who attended the event congratulated BK for his confidence in the Government and the country’s development at large while commending MACORP for being a partner to development in the country.

As Guyana continues its rapid growth, MACORP stands ready — with the pace, the power, and the people to support its customers every step of the way.
