Role Overview:
Ensure all the work orders opened as manufacturer’s warranties are claimed as per the manufacturer’s policy, focusing on the recovery of the cost incurred.
Responsibilities:
Approve work orders to be opened under the manufacturer’s warranty code.
Follow up the execution of the repairs for all manufacturer warranty jobs.
Submit the warranty claims to the manufacturer.
Provide a weekly report to the Service Manager relating to the claims submitted/approved by the manufacturer during that week.
Prepare a monthly performance report to the Service Manager related to the percentage of monies recovered during the month versus the incurred cost.
Manage PIP Safety and PIP Priority execution.
Register all machines for delivery in Caterpillar database.
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least five (5) subjects CXC.
Bachelor’s in science-Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Competent in Microsoft word & Excel.
At least 4 years in machines & technical support.
Good communication, reasoning and analytical skills.
