Role Overview:

To perform service activities such as preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs on heavy duty equipment and components following the manufacturer’s specifications and MACORP’s standards.

Responsibilities:

•            Complete personal timecards for respective jobs.

•            Use parts ordering system.

•            Perform disassembly and assembly of components as directed

•            Clean mechanical parts and components

•            Remove, assist with rebuilding, and install components from equipment as directed.

•            Prepare service reports as required.

•            Use service technical literature.  

•            Load/unload components, parts and equipment as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•            Craft Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institution.

•            Level 2 & above Accreditation

•            At least five (5) years’ experience as a technician/mechanic

•            Good communication, analytical and organizational skills, with a strong customer service focus.

•            Previous experience with CAT machinery would be an asset.
