Virtual Operators Training

Excavator Training Program

MACORP Training Department offers training for new and experienced operators. In this program operators are taught using the blended teaching methodology.

Each participant will receive an evaluation, an evaluation report and a final examination to certify their competence of operating the machine. A certificate of competence will be issued on successful completion of the program.

Level 1 Operator Training

This course focuses on providing the operator with the requisite operational foundational knowledge and skills that is needed to function proficiently in the operation industry. We employ the use of a simulator complimented with instructor-led sessions and on-the-machine practice.

Duration of Course: 40 hours
Prerequisites: Basic Literacy & Numeracy skills
Attendance: 25 Participants

At the end of this training participant should be able to:

  • Demonstrate Excavator operator safety
  • Identify excavator components
  • Use the simulator for control familiarization
  • Carry out recommended maintenance procedures
  • Demonstrate basic operation techniques

Level 2 Operator Training

This course is designed for trained operators and focuses on the techniques required to maximize production levels for specific operations.

Duration of Course: 40 hours

At the end of this training participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate Excavator operator safety
  • Carry out recommended maintenance procedures
  • Demonstrate operational technique that increase production level content
  • Proper Excavator placement For Truck Loading
  • Applying different digging theories when needed
  • Digging effectively
  • Understanding machine controls
  • Understanding machine limits and capabilities
  • Monitor Navigation Control and maintaining work area
  • Importance of load placement
