Technical Training

MACORP also has in-house training for the development of our technicians on equipment within Guyana. We also have a one year training program for trainees. These trainees are chosen from around Guyana.

They must meet our criteria for entrance into the program. At the end of one year, they are guaranteed employment with the company.

Engine Maintenance

This training intends to provide participants with the requisite knowledge and skills that will enable them to maintain Caterpillar engines according to industry standards.

Duration: 5 days (40 hours)

Target Participants: Maintenance Personnel, Technicians, Mechanics, Electricians, Machine owners, Supervisors, Managers

Preventative Maintenance for Engineers

The intention of this training is to provide participants with knowledge and skills that will enable them to carry out maintenance procedures on their fleet of equipment with a high level of proficiency reducing down time and increasing profits.

This training intends to provide participants with the requisite knowledge and skills that will enable them lower their owning and operational cost.

This training intends to provide participants with knowledge and skills that will enable them to carry out Caterpillar recommended maintenance procedures on the hydraulic excavator ultimately resulting in high levels of productivity due to minimum machine down time.

Duration: 3 days (24 hours)

Target Participants: Mechanics, Technicians and Excavator servicemen
